I like art that can be understood by everybody, art that does not need a thousand words to be understood, to be more precise, or to be felt.
When we observe a work of art, we are face to face with ourselves. It reflects what we are, what we are not, what we like and what scares us. The reaction of the viewer is part of the work, because there is not art work that does not wish to be seen.
In my art I explore my place in the world, as a woman, as a human being. I am interested in the body, nudity, impermanence, love, communion between the corporal and the intangible, the sacred, the ritual, woman, man, unity after duality, the infinite outside and inside ourselves, the connection with the Earth that holds us. I have already explored many of these ideas and others are still to be explored.
This is a 'work in progress', in continuous movement. Thank you for being here.
